Fees are based on a rate of $125/hr.

A psycho-educational assessment investigates the possible presence of an academic learning disability or cognitive disability. It includes a behavioural assessment which investigates the possible presence of ADHD, BPPD, OCD, autism, anxiety, depression, repressed anger and/or substance abuse.

A psycho-educational assessment includes standardized testing of intellectual abilities, oral language and academic levels to identify possible academic learning disabilities. The Woodcock Johnson 4th Edition (WJIV) and Integrated Visual Auditory Continuous Performance Test ( IVA-CPT) are used. Other standardized tests are utilized when appropriate. A behavioural assessment includes standardized testing for ADHD.

Both assessments include gathering background information and screening for ADHD, BPPD, OCD, autism, anxiety, depression, repressed anger and/or substance abuse. Self-concept, self esteem, self-image, personality, learning style and vocational preferences are also explored.

lf present, an academic learning disability OR a cognitive disability can be diagnosed. lf mental health issues are present, the client will be referred to the appropriate professional for further investigation, diagnosis and treatment.

A psycho-educational assessment includes one-on-one testing (3-5hrs), scoring, interpretation of data, report writing including recommendations for program modification in an educational or work setting (7-8hrs) and post-conferencing (1hr) The cost of the assessment varies, depending on the age of the client, their language skills, their working memory and long-term retrieval skills and their processing speed. Multiple reports are forwarded to the client for distribution to the appropriate people.

A behavioural assessment includes one-on-one testing (1hr), scoring, interpretation of data and report writing (2hrs) . lf ADHD, other chemical imbalances or mental health issues appear to be present, the client will be referred to the appropriate professional for further investigation, diagnosis and treatment. Multiple reports are forwarded to the client for distribution to the appropriate people.

lf the client needs reassessment during treatment, there is a one-time flat fee (1hr) because more than one reassessment is often necessary, Multiple reports are forwarded to the client for distribution to the appropriate people.

A variety of other assessments are available upon request. The cost is $125.00hr and the length of the assessment depends on the referral question.
