Referrals may also be made to other professionals for further investigation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Interactive Metronome - How Does Interactive Metronome Work?
The Interactive Metronome improves timing in the brain in an organized systematic, flexible, and engaging format. Research shows that combining movement and cognitive tasks leads to better overall outcomes. IM is a patented and unique training tool that challenges thinking and movement simultaneously, providing real time milliseconds feedback to help synchronize the body’s internal clock.
As the client adjusts their performance to the reference tone and guide sounds, their functional brain networks begin to communicate in a more efficient, rhythmic pattern. This allows the client to reach their full potential academically, socially, and athletically in only minutes a day. It improves sensory processing, working memory, attention and concentration, processing speed, motor planning and sequencing, and balance and coordination.
One of the most important IM training outcomes is improved focus via increased efficiency of the attention control system that maintains goal related information active in working memory in the presence of internal and external distractions. Improvement in efficiency of executive functions and working results in more efficient complex-cognitive processing and learning. There have been proven results with a wide range of conditions including ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Development Delays, Speech-Language Issues, Cerebral Palsy, Auditory Processing Disorder, Dyslexia, Stroke, Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Concussions, Amputations, Neurological Diseases, Parkinson’s disease, MS, Athletic Enhancement, Gait Symmetry, Injury Recovery, Decision Making, Balance, Processing Speed, Academic Performance, and Overall Wellness.
